Payment Plan Balance Looks Different
Checking the Ginnys account after a recent payment, I noticed the remaining balance did not drop exactly the way I expected from the installment schedule. The payment itself is listed correctly, so I am trying to understand how fees or timing affect the balance. Has anyone compared the schedule with the account afterward and figured out why the numbers can look different? It would help to know whether the account balance usually updates in a predictable way.
